VINE is a beloved campaign representing more than 20 years of investment in young people. Since we began, the young people we’ve invested in have grown up to be community leaders, thriving professionals, and grateful alumni of Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. Thank you for your steadfast support!

VINE won’t be an in-person gathering this year, but we’ve spoken with Club leadership about how our community can continue meeting the needs of young people. You might not be surprised to hear that one of the most critical needs right now is greater support for adolescent behavioral health.

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is building a Behavioral Health Support Team so that Club members and their families can count on the Clubs to provide youth the support and skills they need to control anxiety, identify and regulate emotions, and receive personalized intervention when needed.

The Team will be overseen by a licensed clinical director and ultimately have a cohort of Behavioral Health Support Specialists in every Club. We hope you’ll share in our enthusiasm that Boys & Girls Clubs is helping to meet a critical and underfunded need for kids in our community.

Boys & Girls Clubs do so much for local youth, and we don’t normally ask for your support of any one program. But youth mental health is one of the most pressing issues of our time. The VINE Fund has already committed $50,000 towards the launch of the new team. We boldly ask for your continued partnership in the hopes that together we can raise another $50,000 to accelerate the expansion of behavioral health services at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.
